My name is Larryca. I’m the one in the middle of the picture, and I am reaching out to you with a humble request for financial assistance. I am 18 years old, the eldest daughter in my family, and I have three siblings. Our family situation has been challenging since 2016 when my parents separated. My mother, who is a housewife, has been the sole provider for our family, while my father works as a boatman.

As I approach my graduation, I am faced with the financial burden of the graduation fee. Unfortunately, due to our family’s circumstances, I am unable to cover this expense on my own. Therefore, I am reaching out to you in the hope that you might be able to provide some assistance. 

Your generosity and support would mean the world to me and my family, and I would be forever grateful for any help you can provide.

After LYF granted Larryca ₱1000 to cover her graduation fee, she was able to successfully complete her studies and participate in her graduation program.

I am Christine, 30 years old, turning 31 in August this year. I graduated from Grade 11 at Informatics College in Consolacion, Cebu, with flying colors. Currently, I am searching for a job. In the meantime, I would like to make use of my time to earn by starting a small business.

I am proposing to establish a buy-and-sell fishing business, in which I would purchase fish in Alicia and sell them in the Zamboanga Sibugay area.

I have prepared a list of possible expenses if needed. We already have a motorcycle at the moment. I hope you can help.

LYF granted Christine $100 to start a business buying fresh fish at the pier and transporting them into town on her motorbike. She was able to lean on income from this business until she landed a job as an assistant at a pharmacy.

My name is Joyce Kate, and I am a 12th-grade student at Academia System Global Colleges, currently studying in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) strand. Throughout my academic career, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities, which have greatly enriched my educational experience and helped shape my future goals. These experiences have instilled in me a passion for learning and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to my chosen field.

However, despite my dedication and hard work, my family’s financial situation poses a significant challenge in meeting the expenses associated with my education.

This funding will be allocated towards tuition fees, books, and other essential educational expenses.

Receiving this support would alleviate the financial burden on my family and allow me to focus wholeheartedly on my studies. By relieving the stress associated with financial constraints, I am confident that I can maximize my academic potential and excel in my chosen field.

I am committed to utilizing the knowledge and skills I acquire to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. With your assistance, I am eager to pursue my academic aspirations and contribute to the advancement of STEM education.

Hi my name is Rhuda. I’m 31 years old and a single mother of two kids. I used to work in a hotel for almost 3 years, but I had to stop because there was no one to take care of my two children. I am the sole provider for them, as my youngest is only 6 years old and there is no father to support us. Right now, I am unemployed, so I am planning to start a small business for the three of us. It’s incredibly difficult to stand as both a mother and a father for my two children when I don’t know where to turn for help.

I am reaching out with a hopeful heart, asking for your kindness to help the three of us.

After Rhuda received ₱2000 from LYF, she started a home-based business making and selling banana cues from her own home. 

Hi, I am Liezl, a student at Punta Princesa National High School. I am a single mom to a three-year-old named Aiden Jasson. I am also a working student at my mom’s shop; I work as her assistant. The business she has right now is just small. We make clothes like uniforms, gowns, costumes, etc. It depends on our customers on what they like us to make. We are dependent on people who come to our house, so usually, we still have a crisis making money. That’s why I am grateful that someone is willing to help me with some things like this organization. I am asking 300 pesos for my remaining balance on my tuition fee for school. Thank you so much.

After receiving a grant of ₱300 from LYF, Liezl was able to remain in school and finish the year.
